To keep transformation from ending with the enthusiasm of a few: Lessons learned from leading AI utilization and DE&I in a development organization

Company-wide AI adoption promotion and Tech DE&I promotion in a development organization. What these two seemingly different transformations had in common was the difficulty of turning the activities of a few enthusiastic individuals into a framework in which the entire organization can participate. AI outputs contain biases, and it is humans who ultimately evaluate and judge their quality. In other words, product quality in the AI era is supported by each creator's awareness of diversity and an organizational mechanism that does not leave its evaluation to individuals. In this talk, I will introduce the process of setting ambitious goals, taking ownership of challenges, digging deep into frontline feedback and data, creating a common language and learning opportunities, and scaling while measuring results, and share leadership lessons for improving the quality of AI utilization across the entire organization.
